La Duchère, the greenest district in France
About
The Lyon-La Duchère project , northwest of Lyon, is the only territory in France to have obtained Stage 4 of EcoQuartier certification in 2018, proof that its urban planning is exemplary. After 15 years of urban renewal and a first level 3 label obtained in 2013, this distinction places it alongside the 5 most advanced districts of France in the approach which combines ecology and well-being of the inhabitants.
