Over 4 years, SMART INNOVATION will create new growth-oriented and innovative SMEs in the Capital Region. This is done through the establishment of a system for efficient knowledge exchange for product and business development for Danish SMEs. 68 companies are participating in the project.

The 68 SMEs in Region H, together with business developers and researchers from DTU, will develop prototypes that are aligned with the market in which the product will go. The result of the collaboration will result in more innovation, increased growth, productivity and more knowledge and industrial jobs in the region. The target is 400 new high-tech industrial workplaces in Region H for the next 7 years. based on 'Big Data', 'Internet of Things', Smart City and digitization.
