Undisputed excellence: Swiss Science Prize for conflict research

In 2018, the Marcel Benoist Foundationawarded the Swiss Science Prize, generally regardedas Switzerland’s premier award for academic excellence, to Lars-Erik Cederman, professor of PoliticalScience at ETH Zurich’s International Conflict Research(ICR) group, for his work on the causes and possiblesolutions of conflicts between ethnic minorities andcentral state governments.
